HOLLAND DAVIS

Guitarist, songwriter, author, and worship leader HOLLAND DAVIS is an artist you've probably already heard -- even if you didn't know it. He has penned ubiquitous praise songs like "Let It Rise," "I Will Stand," and "Who Is Like The Lord" and his compositions and recordings have been featured on recordings by Maranatha! Music and Big Daddy Weave. But in meeting him, you'd never know it; unassuming, humble, and always with a smile, Davis is the kind of musician whose minstry transcends music.
Davis is the Worship Leader and assistant pastor at Ocean Hills Church with Pastor Jim Nicol where he hosts the Worship Life Conferences. Previously, he was the worship leader at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa where he started the School Of Worship and Calvary Chapel Music. Prior to that he was Director of A&R and Marketing at Maranatha! Music where he started the Worship Underground label that introduced artists such as David Crowder, Pete Shambrook, and Curt Coffield. Davis was also the originator of the gold-selling Top 25 Praise Songs and was on the A&R and Marketing committee for the Wow Worship Series. He is a published writer with Rolltop Music, Vineyard Music, and Maranatha! Music.
In addition to leading worship and performing his own music, Davis is a gifted speaker and teacher who has spoken and shared at dozens of churches, conferences, and events.
Davis lives in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. with his wife Roxie and their kids Austin, Chase,and Madison. |
